It's been a while since my last journal in Multiply. I've been very busy with work and family. 2007 hasn't been a very nice year to me, as my mom had undergone brain operations. She had a brain tumor (don't worry, it's benign) with a size of a ponkan fruit *accdg to neuro-surgeons. She's very well now and very much recovered from her 2 brain operations. Yup, she passed those 2 ops. The first one was when they had to remove the tumor, and the next was her infected bone. Now, that part on her head doesn't a have bone anymore, but only the scalp is protecting her brain. The docs said it was ok and that all we have to do is to make sure that part is well taken care of.
Thanks to my friends (especially to my office mates) who have always been there to support me all the way... I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU GUYS!!! :') (teary..)
Aside from that, I also got the chance to travel to Singapore last year. I went last June to celebrate our (Myk) 6th year anniversary. I only stayed for two weeks but it was remarkable. I got to visit most of the favored places in SG, and at the same time, shop for free! Hehehe!!! Of course, all expense-paid by Myk =) hehehe.
Went back there last November and stayed for a month. I celebrated my birthday there. Myk and I were able to talk about our future during my stay. I also took advantage to search for other career opportunities in SG, and luckily when i got back to Manila, a prestige banking company called me and offered a job.
Not only that I got a job there, but also found my future husband =) Yes, we're engaged! Finally!!! HAHA!! Just kidding, Myk! =)
See, 2007 wasn't all "that" bad after all. Welcome 2008, and I hope it will be a good year for me, Myk, my family, and to you out there reading my blog =)
